WorkABility Program Opens Calgary Office October 1st

We’re excited to share that the WorkABility Program is officially opening its new office in Calgary on October 1st, 2025. The new space will expand employment opportunities and resources for Calgarians living with disabilities. Located at Suite 150 - 707 10th Avenue SW., Calgary, AB, the new Open Door Group office is designed to provide both individualized support and group programming that prepare participants for meaningful and sustainable work.

About WorkABility
WorkABility, operated by Open Door Group, focuses on helping people with disabilities build confidence, develop career skills, and connect with inclusive employers. The program offers one-to-one coaching, career planning, and job search support, all tailored to the individual.
The Calgary office will also host In Motion and Momentum+, a 16-week program where 12 participants work together in a cohort model. This approach combines skills training, personal development, and peer support to help participants prepare for long-term employment.
Features of the New Calgary Office
- Resource Room: Six work stations for job search and training.
- Accessible Stations: Two fully accessible work stations to ensure equitable access for all.
- Cohort Programming: Space to deliver In Motion and Momentum+, fostering collaboration and skill-building.
