AIM
Our AIM program assists persons with disabilities to improve and maintain employability and chances of being meaningfully engaged in employment related activities. The program is funded by the Ministry of Social Development - Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement.
No cost to eligible participants.
Self-disclosure of a disability or chronic situation
No geographical boundaries
Services through Employment Counselling include:
- Career research and personal assessments
- Return to work action plan
- Job search support
- Professional job placement
- Job search workshops
- Referral to targeted wage subsidies
- Assisting eligible clients with training applications
- Follow up services once a placement is found
The AIM program also includes a fully equipped Employment Resource Centre with onsite help with computers, internet access, job postings, photocopying, local phone calls and faxing. The Resource Centre is for independent participants as well as individuals accessing case management services.
